It takes 4 days to walk the whole track. Most people walk the most popular part of the track in 3 days from Marahau to Totaranui. The track is well-serviced by water taxis up until Totaranui. The Abel Tasman Coast Track is a 60 kilometre long trail of special status, one of the Great Walks of New Zealand. It is also one of the most pleasant, the highest point is only at 150 metres! You can visit the national park throughout the year, but you have to be aware that nights can be very cold out of season. The Abel Tasman Coast Track is not a circuit track so you'll need some form of transport at both ends.
